  2. Make ready 2 tbsp oil

Instant Khaman Dhokla Recipe, a famous and healthy snack from Gujarat. Khaman (Besan) dhokla, is a tasty Gujarati snack. This salty snack has a texture similar to cake. This will be used to steam the dhokla.

Instructions to make Khaman dhokla:
  1. Take a bowl, add gram flour, lemon juice, a pinch salt, Turmeric powder, ginger -green chiili paste and make like (idli batter) with water.
  2. Keep aside the batter for 30 minutes
  3. Now in a deep bottom vessel add 2 cups of water and put a stand on it and makes boiling.
  4. After 30 min the batter is set, now grease tha dhokla tin and heat for 2-3 seconds.
  5. Now add eno (fruit salt) on tha dhokla batter and mix with the help of hand blender for only 1 minute.
  6. And transfer the batter on dhokla tin and set very well.
  7. Now put the dhokla tin on the stand, and cover the vessel lid and cook in medium flame for 20-30 minutes.
  8. Now check with a knife if cooked…turn off the gas flame and keep aside for cooling.
  9. Now heat the tadka pan add oil,Mustard seeds, 2 green chiili. When splutter add a cup of water then add sugar and let it boil.
  10. When dissolves the sugar, spread the tadka over the dhokla…
  11. Khaman dhokla is ready, cut it and enjoy…
