Then add toor dal and mix it with, add water +tamarind pulp and cook until the toor dal vegetables are cooked.
  3. Sprinkle the sambhar powder when it begins to bubble switch off the stove. And serve the hot idli with sambhar.
  4. For sambhar masala– Roast all the ingredients and grind together to make a powder.
