The ingredients needed to make Khichri:
  1. Prepare Oil half cup
  2. Get Onion 1 Sliced
  3. Make ready Green Chilies 10-12 (Cut Lightly Lengthwise)
  4. Take 250 g Mix (Split Green lentils & Split Red lentils)
  5. Get Rice half cup (125g)
  6. Take Salt as your taste
  7. Take 4 glasses Water

Mince the coriander leaves, ginger and garlic. Fry the spices on a medium heat, add the finely chopped ginger and garlic for a couple of minutes. Add the onion and cook until soft. Khichdi (also khichri, "khichdee", "khichadi", "khichuri", "khichari" and many other variants) (Urdu: کھچڑی ), is a South Asian rice dish made from rice and lentils (dal).

Instructions to make Khichri:
  1. Heat Oil in a pot on a medium heat. Then add Onion & Green chilies. Fry Onions & green chilies until the raw smell of onions goes away
  2. Then add drained Mix Daal (Pulses), rice and salt. Mix it. Then pour 4 Glasses water. Stir well & taste the water. Add more salt if needed.
  3. Cook until Soft, adding more water if needed. Serve with SANFAZ ACHAR (SANFAZ PICKLE).
