The ingredients needed to make Khichri:
  1. Make ready 1 cup rice
  2. Prepare 2 cup chilke dal
  3. Make ready 1 cup chop garlic
  4. Make ready 1 onion chopped
  5. Get To taste salt
  6. Get 2 tsp desi ghee
  7. Get 1 tsp jeera
  8. Make ready 4 cup water

Mince the coriander leaves, ginger and garlic. Fry the spices on a medium heat, add the finely chopped ginger and garlic for a couple of minutes. Add the onion and cook until soft. Khichdi (also khichri, "khichdee", "khichadi", "khichuri", "khichari" and many other variants) (Urdu: کھچڑی ), is a South Asian rice dish made from rice and lentils (dal).

Instructions to make Khichri:
  1. Take a bowl add dal and rice washed and soaked 2 hr.
  2. After 2 hr take a pressure cooker add ghee hot add jeera and garlic saute then add onion, salt, water.
  3. Then add rice and dal cook for 2 whistle then gas off.
  4. After pressure released serve khichri
