The ingredients needed to make Sambhar & Nariyal chutney:
  1. Get 1/3 cup Arhar dal
  2. Prepare 1 cup vegetables
  3. Get 1 tspon gur/ jaggery
  4. Get 2 tbsp imli pulp

  7. Take 1/2 tsp methi

  12. Make ready 1 tsp dry Coriander
  13. Prepare 10-12 curry leaves
  14. Make ready 1 tbsp Kashmiri mirch
  15. Prepare 1 pinch hing/ asafoetida
  16. Prepare 1/2 tsp turmeric
  17. Prepare 1/2 tsp salt
  18. Get 2 tomatoes
  19. Take For tempering
  20. Make ready 1 tbsp oil
  21. Make ready 10-12 curry leaves
  22. Make ready 4 dry whole chilli
  23. Get 1 tsp rai
  24. Prepare 1 pinch hing /asafoetida

Sambar is a dish in South Indian and Sri Lankan Tamil cuisines, made of toor dal and veggies, sambar masala. Steps to make Sambhar & Nariyal chutney:
  1. Heat oil in a pan. Saute all the ingredients mentioned in masala for 3-4 minutes on medium flame.
  2. Let it cool down and make a very fine paste of it with some water.
  3. In a cooker add vegetables and grinded masala and saute for a minute now add socked arhar dal with sufficint water and salt now wait for 4-5 whistle.
  4. After releasing all the pressure add imli and gur and take a boil.
  5. Heat a pan and prepare tempring with oil hing curry leaves dry chilli and mix it into sambhar
  6. Narial chutney
  7. Grind kaccha nariyal with the help of MILK adjust salt and temper it.
