Stir in the tahini and garlic. When the seeds are fragrant and begin to brown, remove them from the heat and pour into a food processor. Coat with a little olive oil and wrap securely in tin foil. Using your fingers, squeeze the soft, roasted garlic out of each clove into food processor.

Steps to make Simple Garlic Hummus:
  1. Pour chick peas into a pan, do not remove juice. Spread garlic powder evenly and simmer for 4 minutes.
  2. Put chick pea mixture into a blender or food processor. Add the rest of the ingredients. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into a dish and serve with crackers, veggies, toast or whatever else you'd like!
