Thoroughly clean ½ cup rice and wash well. Khajur Gur ka Kheer is a delicious rice pudding made in East India- Bihar, Bengal and Jharkhand. I live in Chennai and so this jaggery is not generally available here.

  3. Add rice and stir. Cover and cook it almost 15-20 min till the rice almost done. Then add pure ghee and stir.
  4. Then the kheer complitely cool then add dates jggery and nice stir.
  5. Garnishing some cashew and almonds.
